Teaching methodology

The course is characterized by the use of interactive teaching, which also implies a verification of learning during exercises, seminars and laboratories. During the lessons, students may be asked to prepare papers and presentations, individually or in small groups. There will be tests
written and oral examinations. The presence in the study plan of a compulsory Project Cycle Laboratory and reporting elements, and the possibility of choosing other Laboratories on specific issues of great relevance in the field of cooperation, are intended to promote knowledge of the world of work and
professional integration. Curricular internships - to be carried out at bodies or institutions active in the field of cooperation - and the organization of seminars and meetings with scholars and operators of Italian and international cooperation within the lessons go in the same direction.

The format

In both years of the programme, courses relating to different disciplinary areas are planned, aimed at training professionals capable of managing the complex and multifaceted dynamics of development cooperation processes. In the second year, an important part of the workload required of students is to be dedicated
the preparation of the degree thesis. The timetables and the organisation of courses and laboratories are aimed at facilitating attendance and the regular course of study.

Study plans

At least 120 university credits must be acquired to obtain the graduate degree.
Each exam is awarded a number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation.
The final degree grade is expressed in one hundred and ten.
