Degree Classes
LM-77 R (Management)

In relation to the specific objectives of the graduate degree programme, internships at financial institutions may be envisaged, as well as study stays at other Italian and foreign universities, also within the framework of international agreements. With reference to the training course, it is structured in such a way as to allow the student to develop in the first part solid and in-depth skills in the field of regulatory economics, measurement of financial phenomena, pricing of financial instruments, including complex ones, the discipline of intermediaries and their governance. In the second part of the curriculum, the student learns about the management of financial intermediaries, risk management, investment management, listed company law, and financial ethics. The degree programme includes training that, in order to pursue these objectives, allows the student to train in the areas of management of financial intermediaries or the economics of financial intermediation. The degree programme will be articulated by providing a strong presence of business and management disciplines, an appropriate offer of economic and quantitative disciplines and a suitable offer of legal disciplines. Teaching is carried out in the traditional frontal mode, using the presentation of business cases, through meetings with experts from the financial world and through simulations with the help of information and telematic technologies.

Credits
The normal duration of the graduate degree programme is two additional years after graduation. To obtain the graduate degree, students must have acquired at least 120 credits, including those related to the final examination. Each teaching is assigned a given number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed out of 30) that varies according to the level of preparation. The courses conclude with an evaluation test expressed by means of a mark out of 30. The time reserved for personal study or other individual training activities constitutes about two-thirds of the total hourly commitment. After passing the final graduation examination, the student obtains the graduate degree in Financial Markets and Institutions.
