What is the Internship

The Internship is a fully recognized educational activity, even though it is a period the student spends in a company working closely with professionals. Therefore, it must be approved as such by the Faculty Tutor before it begins. The Curricular Internship does not in any way constitute an employment activity but is an integral part of the educational program.

Students may start a curricular internship with ECTS credits from the second semester of the first year. The internship must last at least 2 months on a full-time basis and will replace 9 ECTS from elective courses. The internship does not need to be selected when completing the study plan; instead, it will substitute elective exams once completed. Furthermore, in order to be approved, the internship must be in a field related to the degree program.

To obtain internship approval, students must contact the tutor before the internship begins at andrea.viola@unicatt.it To activate a curricular internship with ECTS credits, students must access: http://step.unicatt.it/ The procedure can also be followed at the following link.
