c. Smart Goal Projects and Content Editor Training

It is possible to include SMART GOAL PROJECTS (2 ECTS credits) and CONTENT EDITOR TRAINING (4 ECTS credits) in your study plan.

Smart Goal Projects are short-term practical projects based on the "learning by doing" approach, focused on marketing, communication, events, and culture. They are offered in collaboration with companies, institutions, and associations within the degree program's network.

Content Editor Training involves activities such as content writing, defining editorial strategies, and managing the CIMOinfo platform and its social media channels.

Credits for practical-seminar activities are earned through participation in the meetings and activities promoted.

Attendance is therefore considered mandatory.

Please note that, due to the practical and hands-on nature of these activities, it is not always possible to provide alternative paths to in-person attendance. For this reason, in case of absence—even if justified (such as for internships or participation in international mobility projects recognized by the University)—students are required to contact the course instructors before the seminar or workshop begins.

The evaluation and recording of grades for practical-seminar activities will follow the criteria below.

MANDATORY WORKSHOPS

Workshop assessment will take into account:

  • Attendance of at least 75% of total class hours;
  • Quality of participation in class;
  • Completion of assignments and projects given by the instructor;
  • Passing of any assessment tests designed to evaluate the expected competencies.

Grade recording for Workshops is handled by the responsible instructors. Students are required to register for the relevant exam session(s) corresponding to the workshop(s) they attended. Grade recording is done at a later time and does not require the student's physical presence in the classroom.

ELECTIVE WORKSHOPS

Elective workshops assessment will take into account:

  • Attendance of at least 75% of total class hours;
  • Quality of participation in class;
  • Completion of assignments and projects given by the instructor;
  • Passing of any assessment deemed necessary by the course coordinator.

Grades for all elective workshops are recorded by a Committee chaired by the Course Coordinators three times a year, starting from the June–July session, following this schedule:

  • First recording: Summer session
  • Second recording: Autumn session
  • Third recording: Extraordinary session

Students must register for the exam session corresponding to the elective workshop(s) they attended. Grade recording is done at a later time and does not require the student's physical presence in the classroom.

Please note that deferred recording requires the student's acceptance of the evaluation. Notification of grade recording will be sent automatically via email, containing a request to accept or reject the seminar grade.

To check the update on their personal online transcript, students should wait until the end of each session (approximately 3 weeks after the exam date). Priority for grade recording will be given to graduating students.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Assessment of Smart Goal Projects and Content Editor Training will take into account:

  • Active and proactive participation in the planned activities;
  • Timely and accurate completion of tasks assigned by project organizers and/or Career Advisers;
  • Positive feedback from the project organizers and/or Career Advisers.

Grades for Smart Goal Projects and Content Editor Training are recorded at a later time. Student presence in the classroom is not required.
