Internships and professional training

In the graduate degree programme in Gestione d'azienda , the internship experience is a structured training element and an integral part of the course, designed to encourage the application of theoretical knowledge in real professional contexts and facilitate entry into the world of work.
The curricular internship is not a paid work activity, but a teaching and training activity recognized with university training credits (CFU).

For the Management and Sustainability profiles, the curricular internship is compulsory, has a minimum duration of 175 hours and recognizes 7 credits upon completion of the experience, which takes place in companies, institutions or organizations consistent with the student's training project.

Also for the Consulting and Governance profile, the activation of a curricular internship with the same parameters (175 hours and 7 CFU) is envisaged, but it is also possible to carry out a professional internship in agreement with a duration of 6 months (about 275 hours) and 7 CFU, also recognized for the purposes of professionalizing paths such as the State exam for Chartered Accountant or Labor Consultant, thanks to agreements with professional associations.

In all cases, the internship project must be approved by the Faculty Tutor before the start, and the student must submit the request through the appropriate online procedure (internship application on a dedicated platform), attaching the required documentation (e.g. CV, training plan and exam certificate).

The internship is conceived as an experience of professional and personal growth that allows you to consolidate managerial, managerial and transversal skills acquired during the course of study, with a strong educational value in the transition from the academic environment to the world of work.

The Career Service accompanies students and graduates in entering the world of work, offering orientation tools for business and organizational contexts. The service supports the development of transversal skills, encourages meetings with companies and supports the construction of a conscious and coherent professional path.

Every year over 20,000 students participate in the events organized with more than 100 partner companies and over 9,500 carry out an internship thanks to the support of the Career Service and internship tutors.
