/ Overview

The graduate degree programme in Biotecnologie per la medicina personalizzata (Biotechnology for Personalised Medicine) at Università Cattolica, campus of Rome, trains professionals capable of developing and applying the most advanced biotechnologies to precision medicine, contributing to innovation in prevention, diagnosis and therapy.

The programme integrates skills in cellular and molecular biotechnology, genomics, nanotechnology, regenerative medicine and omics sciences, with a strongly interdisciplinary and translational approach. A distinctive element is the close integration between teaching, research and clinical application, made possible by the collaboration with the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS.

From the first year, students carry out experimental activities in research laboratories and, in the second year, they can orient their training by choosing between the Diagnostic curriculum and the Therapeutic curriculum, completing the course with courses dedicated to the regulatory, economic, patent and bioethical aspects of biotechnology.
