Programme aims and intended learning outcomes

The Master of Science (MSc) in Agricultural and Food Economics is an English‑taught graduate programme designed for students who wish to explore the economic, managerial and sustainability issues shaping today’s global agri‑food system. As the first Italian MSc in the agri‑business field delivered entirely in English, it offers a distinctive international perspective within one of Europe’s most dynamic food regions.

The programme blends strong academic foundations with a highly interactive, practice focused learning experience, fostering close interaction with faculty, industry professionals, and organisations across the agrifood value chain. Students can shape their studies by choosing between two study pathwaysBusiness and Innovation Policies or Sustainability Policies – according to their interests and career ambitions.

A range of study abroad opportunities and selected Double Degree programmes with international partner universities further enrich the academic journey, supporting the development of a global outlook and enhancing professional prospects.

Based in Cremona, at the heart of Northern Italy’s agricultural landscape, the programme provides a culturally rich and accessible environment for advanced study.
