The Graduate Schools

At Università Cattolica, many of the refresher, advanced and executive education programmes are carried out within the Graduate Schools, true centres of excellence in research and advanced training for managers and professionals.
Some Graduate Schools are dedicated to sustainability and work through a dense network of relationships with companies and organizations around the world.

ALTIS - Graduate School of Sustainable Management

ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management, founded in 2005, is the Graduate School of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore dedicated to promoting sustainability in the management of companies and organizations and in new business initiatives. ALTIS has always stood out for its vocation to embrace the complexity of sustainability challenges and to foster the development of culture and knowledge through scientific research on frontier issues.

In ALTIS' vision, sustainability consists of a dynamic path of evolution of companies in taking into account their impacts in a broad and integral sense, combining the tension towards economic results with attention to the natural environment and the enhancement of people and society. Organizations committed to generating change in this direction can find in ALTIS a companion on the path of developing the skills necessary to embrace sustainability for long-term value creation.

ASA – Graduate School for the Environment

The Graduate School for the Environment (ASA) was founded within the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Brescia in 2008. In this highly dynamic territorial context, the Graduate School for the Environment is a structure of excellence in research and teaching that offers answers to environmental problems and the related economic, social and cultural transformations taking place. The multidimensionality of environmental issues requires a new capacity to analyse the relationships between society, institutions, businesses, research and education according to a multiplicity of criteria and methods in which scientific, socio-pedagogical and political-economic approaches converge.

SMEA - Graduate School of Agro-Food Economics and Management

SMEA was founded in Cremona in 1984 as a Postgraduate School and Master in Economics of the Agri-food System, by the Faculties of Agriculture and Economics of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. Since 2005, SMEA has been part of the "Graduate Schools" of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, an institute of excellence in university education and research. The mission of the Graduate School SMEA is to promote economic and management culture in the agri-food sector, carrying out training and research activities and offering consultancy and dissemination services.
