Family Enrichment Paths - 2026 edition

Being parents is beautiful and difficult.
Being a working parent is even more challenging: family and professional responsibilities often intertwine and sometimes overlap, requiring energy, balance and the ability to continuously reorganize.

There is no "school" to be parents, but it is possible to become more aware and competent parents, making the most of the resources you already have, especially if accompanied by professionals who are experts in relational and family dynamics.

With this in mind, the University is launching a new edition of the Family Enrichment Pathways (PEF) for the Milan campus. Born as a project initiative as part of the University's 2023-2025 Strategic Plan, the Pathways are now consolidated as a stable intervention, structurally becoming part of the University's policies dedicated to the well-being and enhancement of people.

The interest and positive feedback collected in previous editions, together with the indications that emerged from the recent survey on welfare, confirm the importance of offering continuous spaces for listening and accompaniment in the most delicate phases of personal and professional life, including parenthood.

This programme is aimed at teaching staff, technical-administrative staff, research fellows and PhD students of Università Cattolica with children aged between 7 and 11.

Four meetings of 3 hours are scheduled, from 14.00 to 17.00, at the Milan office, on the following dates:

  • 12 March 2026;
  • 23 March 2026;
  • April 20, 2026;
  • May 4, 2026.

The working method integrates theoretical moments and experiential activities in small groups, led by two trainers who are experts in relational and family issues, encouraging the comparison and enhancement of each person's experience.
