/ Overview

The Graduate Degree Course in Scienze linguistiche (Linguistic Sciences) at the Catholic University of Milan offers an interdisciplinary training course, which combines linguistic, cultural, communicative and managerial skills to prepare professionals capable of facing the challenges of complex and constantly changing international scenarios.

In addition to the in-depth study of two foreign languages, the training plan includes courses dedicated to communication, management, international relations and the dynamics of globalization, broadening the horizons of traditional language studies.

Students can orient their path by choosing between three profiles: Management internazionale (International Management), Media, AI & Digital Management and Languages for International Relations, the latter entirely delivered in English.

The international openness is a distinctive feature of the course. Students have the opportunity to consolidate their command of two foreign languages, attend educational courses in English and participate in study, internship and international mobility experiences at partner universities in different countries.

The didactic proposal combines theoretical preparation with numerous opportunities for discussion with the professional world: workshops, project work, case studies, expert testimonies and activities carried out in synergy with companies and organizations. An approach that allows you to develop skills and knowledge to be applied in areas such as communication, media, management and international relations.

The course also looks at the new needs of the labor market and the transformations of the reference sectors, reserving space for emerging topics such as artificial intelligence, digital communication, content production and media innovation. In parallel, it promotes the maturation of fundamental soft skills, including negotiation, intercultural mediation, relationship management and project coordination in international environments.
