In 2022 he completed the recording of all of Mozart's piano music.

In 2010 Deutsche Grammophon selected twelve recordings by Prosseda for inclusion in the "Classic Gold" box set, released in May 2010.

Since 2011 he has also played the piano-pédalier in public, having rediscovered and presented in modern premiere various pieces by Alkan and Charles Gounod's Concerto for piano-pédalier and orchestra with the Toscanini Philharmonic of Parma, and which he has reperformed with the Berliner Symphoniker, the Staatskapelle in Weimar, the Lahti Philharmonic, the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra. He has given over 100 concerts and recitals with the pedal piano all over the world.

Roberto Prosseda is equally active as a music popularizer, being also the creator of innovative and international musical programming.

He is the creator and co-author of three television documentaries, directed by Angelo Bozzolini, produced by RAI and distributed internationally by Euroarts, dedicated to Mendelssohn, Chopin and Liszt. For RAI5 he created the cycle of lecture-concerts "Dentro La Musica", also involving some of his best students in the episodes dedicated to Italian piano music.

His book "Il Pianoforte", a guide to listening to the piano repertoire, was published by Curci in 2013.

He is the artistic director and co-founder of the "Donatori di Musica" project. In 2023/24 he was artistic consultant of the Teatro Comunale "Giuseppe Verdi" in Pordenone. Great music in Milan

The PIANO IN THE UNIVERSITY project is the result of an agreement between the Milan branch of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and one of the most important houses in the world of musical instruments, Kawai Pianos of Hamamatsu (Japan). Its promoters are the Master Davide Cabassi (lecturer at the Milan Conservatory) and Prof. Enrico Reggiani (director of the Studium Musicale di Ateneo) as artistic creator and scientific director, respectively.
The aim of the project is to contribute to enriching the musical offer of the City of Milan according to innovative criteria and methods from a cultural-musicological point of view and of the highest artistic profile, first of all, by establishing a chamber music season at the Aula Magna of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan that will make use of established and prestigious names of international piano concerts.
