Collingwood's critique of scientism
Abstract
The lecture investigates Collingwood's conception of metaphysics as a form of presuppositional analysis. It addresses the implications of Collingwood's conception for a correct understanding of scientism and articulates a defense of humanistic understanding without collapsing scientific knowledge on historical knowledge
