Iaia Caputo was born in Naples and lives in Milan. She has long been a journalist; he has collaborated with Il Mattino di Napoli, with Rai and with several national newspapers. Editor of Marie Claire for ten years, she then dealt with books, as owner of the column for Flair, and writing for Il Diario, Il Mattino, and for D. di Repubblica. She has published several essays, including Mai devi dire, on the theme of child abuse in the family, Conversations at the end of the century, a collection of interviews with Italian and foreign writers; What women talk about when they talk about love; Women never get old. He is the author of the novels Dimmi ancora una parola (2006); It Was My Mother (2016), the autobiographical memoir The Taste of a Life (2020) and Eva's Version (2022). He has translated from Spanish the authors Fernando Savater, Rosa Montero, Ignacio Martinez de Pisón and Fernando Aramburo's graphic novel, Patria. His books have been translated in Spain, Portugal and Croatia. For some years she has been working as a freelancer as an editor of Italian fiction.
