The Newsroom6
For a journalism that communicates hope
A lot of research on information and journalism today speaks to us of a public fatigued, not only by the succession of crises (covid, climate, wars) but also by the way of telling them, with the prevalence, almost exclusively, of the negativity of reality. In this context, we want to give voice to a journalism that, without denying the problems, also deals with possible solutions, that abandons the point of view of the inevitable catastrophe to open up to hope. Always based on the facts, but without ignoring the positive ones. Whether it's hope journalism, positive journalism, or solutions journalism. We already have many examples, it is a matter of thematizing and promoting them.
