On the occasion of Easter 2024, the Sacred Theatre section of the CIT ('Mario Apollonio' Centre for Culture and Theatrical Initiative) in collaboration with the Pastoral Centre of Università Cattolica and the Diocesan Museum of Brescia presents Tu eri il cielo in me, a choral dramatic action dedicated to mothers who mourn their children snatched from life.
The students of the Dams degree course, specialising in Entertainment and Media, will accompany the spectators along a poetic journey that has its roots in the ancient weeping of Greek mothers, passing from the weeping of the Virgin at the foot of the Cross and reaches the women who today shed tears on too many young victims of violence. Tears of sorrow and love is theirs. A contagious cry that makes you understand the pain by feeling it in the flesh. A cry that screams and asks for humanity, mercy and peace.
Admission with reservation (maximum 50 participants for each time slot). Online bookings.
The show is the result of the performing arts workshop included in the teaching activity reserved for teaching staff, students, families and authorities.
