The seminar aims to provide an up-to-date overview of music therapy starting from three fundamental observational vertices: theory, clinical and research. As a result of the discussion between young researchers from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart and the University of Florence, the seminars focus in particular on the transformative and containing power of sound, a power that has been subjected to empirical verification for some years. In the background, the psychodynamic approach to the person and the relationship remains.
