The integration of artistic and performative practices in re-educational treatment
After the interruption due to the pandemic period, the theatrical festival Legami in spazi aperti returns, one of the actions of the social theater project Fragili Legami, born in 2009 from the collaboration between the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Brescia and the "Verziano" Brescia Detention House.
The project includes an ongoing workshop, conducted according to the performative methods that intervene in social contexts with a participatory and network approach, with the aim of fostering the development of people, groups and local communities through theatrical and festive artistic practices. Starting from the creative stimulus aroused by theatre, play, and performative expressiveness, the workshop activity supports the recovery of the parental role for people in conditions of prison restriction, providing for the participation of sons, daughters and family members in a space/time of mediation and informal empowerment as an alternative to the interview.
