Neuroscientific tools for neurocognitive enhancement and addiction prevention

Convegno internazionale  28 settembre 2018
Aula: G.108 Lazzati -  Ore: 9.30
Largo A. Gemelli, 1, Milano

The International Congress aims to explore the issues related to well-being and subjective self-enhancement through the description of new approaches of neuro-enhancement and neurorehabilitation applied for strengthening cognitive abilities and emotional regulation processes, in normal (cognitive empowerment) and clinical contexts, such as addiction prevention. The functioning and effects of the use of new protocols will be described by showing how the application of wearable and non-invasive devices is able to detect cortical and physical activity, thus allowing a better regulation of cognitive and emotional behavior and implementation of coping strategies for facing the current life context demands. The Congress is organized in collaboration with the Research Unit in Afffective and Social Neuroscience.
