Business and Finance
New degree programme for the a.y. 2024/25 in Brescia
School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences | School of Economics and Law
The innovative degree programme in Business and Finance provides access to the advantages of a multidisciplinary academic approach. From courses in SME banking and finance to those in data science and artificial intelligence, you'll delve into subject areas that may not be typically offered in a traditional business and finance degree. By doing so, you'll not only enhance your job prospects but also cultivate your personal interests further.
You will gain expertise in economics, business, and law, as well as proficiency in mathematical-statistical methods and quantitative models for addressing financial computations, aided by specialised software tools. You will also develop the ability to articulate yourself in English using technical terminology. The course of study is structured through classroom lectures with student interaction, testimonials from industry experts, seminars, individual and group assignments, data analysis, and case studies.
To earn an undergraduate degree, you need to collect 180 university credits (ECTS). You typically gain around 60 credits each year through assessment tests, including both course exams and other supplementary educational activities. Each exam awards a set number of credits, which is the same for all students, and a grade on a scale of thirty, reflecting your level of achievement. The final examination for graduation is given out of 110.
