The Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) promotes and conducts research, training, and policy analysis to strengthen the international dimensions of higher education.
The themes it will cover
These themes will be addressed from several perspectives: global, regional, Italy, and UCSC.
In fulfilling its purposes the Centre designs, conduct and commissions research; organises seminars, conferences, training courses and workshops; and disseminates results through electronic and print publications. The Centre also supports graduate education and visiting scholars. It enters into collaborative agreements, as appropriate, with organisations and entities to meet its purposes
The Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation - CHEI - at UCSC officially opened on April 20, 2012.
Welcomed and introduced by Prof. Pier Sandro Cocconcelli, CHEI President and UCSC Rector's Delegate for internationalization. The event hosted the Scientific Committee and Management Board members of CHEI which promotes and conducts research, training, and policy analysis to strengthen the international dimension of Higher Education at Cattolica.
The seminar focused on the different aspects of internationalization giving a complete overview of UCSC mission from meaning and rationales to comparative perspectives. Amongst the main goals of the Centre for 2012: promoting the internationalization of UCSC through programs, seminars, workshops and faculties engagement.
